New patients

What happens at your first visit, what to bring, and how payment works.

Your first visit

Plan on about an hour, and expect to be seen at the time you were scheduled.

Dr. Basi reviews your medical history, takes digital x-rays, then examines and charts every tooth, measures your gums, and screens for oral cancer. Then he sits down and walks you through what he found — on screen, so you can see it too.

You'll leave with findings, options, and costs in writing. Nothing has to be decided in the chair.

Fees & insurance

We're out of network with all dental plans. You can still use your benefits here.

We file your claims for you. With most plans we accept assignment of benefits, so your insurer pays us directly and you cover only your estimated copay on the day.

There are thousands of plans and no two are alike. Send us yours and we'll tell you exactly what it covers here. No obligation.

Ways to pay

Cash, check, all major credit cards, HSA and FSA. For larger treatment, Cherry and CareCredit financing spread the cost over time. Applying takes a few minutes.

Bring with you
Photo ID · your insurance card · a list of your medications · your physician's name · any x-rays taken elsewhere in the last two years, if you can get them.

Questions we get a lot

Are you taking new patients?

Yes. Send a request or call, and we'll find you a time.

Do you see children?

Yes, from their first visit on. Families are welcome to book together.

What if I haven't been in years?

It's one of the most common ways people start here. No lectures — just an honest look at where things stand.

What if I'm nervous about dentists?

Tell us when you book — nervous patients are something we work with every day. Nitrous oxide is available, and many people who come in nervous leave relaxed.

Do you take my insurance?

We're out of network with all plans, and we file your claim for you. With most plans we accept assignment of benefits, so you typically pay only your estimated copay at the visit.

What should I bring to my first visit?

A photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, and a list of any medications. Your forms can be filled out online ahead of time.

Ready when you are.
